Seer’s Proclamations

Kanchi Paramacharya

Kanchi Paramacharyar is a contemporary spiritualist from India who revived the Vedas. In his book, ‘Deivathin Kural’, he asserts the coming of a Divine force before the end of the 19th century.

In 1931, Paul Brunton asks Paramacharya, “There is darkness everywhere. People are suffering. There is no peace. Why does the Creator not come to redeem the world?” Paramacharya replied, “Before the turn of this century HE will appear. HE will look like an ordinary man in appearance. HE will be unable to bear the sight of suffering in the world and will tap the indwelling divine spirit in everyone.”

“Do not blame people so much as the environments into which they are born. Their surroundings and circumstances force them to become worse than they really are. That is true of both the East and West. Society must be brought into tune with a higher note. Materialism must be balanced by idealism; there is no other real cure for the world’s difficulties. The troubles into which countries are everywhere being plunged are really the agonies which will force this change, just as failure is frequently a sign-post pointing to another road.”

Paul Brunton continues,
“You would like people to introduce spiritual principles into their worldly dealings, then?”

Paramacharya replies,
“Quite so. It is not impracticable, because it is the only way to bring about results which will satisfy everyone in the end, and which will not speedily disappear. And if there were more men who had found spiritual light in the world, it would spread more quickly. India, to its honour, supports and respects its spiritual men, though less so than in former times. If all the world were to do the same, and to take its guidance from men of spiritual vision, then all the world would soon find peace and grow prosperous.”

As a confirmation that Paramacharya had alluded to Shri Siva Shankar Baba as ‘The Redeemer’ in his conversation with Paul Branton in 1931, he proclaimed, “Siva Shankar is Maha Jyothi (Superior light)” on seeing Shri Siva Shankar Baba in the year, 1984.

Yogi Ram Surat Kumar

Thiruvannamalai is the temple of Arunaachaleshwar, one of the many temples of Lord Siva. Yogi Ram Surat Kumar Swamigal also known as ‘Visiri Swamigal’ was a renowned Saint who was known for fanning away the sufferings of people who come to him and mitigating their Karma.

When Shri Siva Shankar Baba had gone to see him, he declared,
“Siva Shankar is God’s Prime Minister. He has gone to even greater heights than Aurobindo and Chaitanya.”

“Siva Shankar is doing my Father’s work all the time and my Father Arunachala is highly pleased with him.”

“Shirdi Sai Baba, Satya Sai Baba, Siva Shankar Baba, You are Arunachal Baba! You are our Baba!”

“God will bring devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba, Satya Sai Baba and all Mahans to your care”

After Shri Siva Shankar Baba’s death experience, Siva Shankar went to Thiruvannamalai regularly, every full moon, and started receiving various ‘Siddhis’ as was ordained by the Father. During ‘Guru Purnimas’ (full moon nights that fall on a Thursday), Siva Shankar got the blessings of Yogi Ram Surat Kumar, God-child of Thiruvannamalai.

Yogi Ram Surat Kumar instated the mantras of Lord Rama and Govinda and blessed him. He once prepared rasam rice and offered a handful to Shri Siva Shankar Baba, washed his hands and bade Shri Siva Shankar Baba drink it. The water in which a ‘Mahaan’ washes his hands has tremendous Divine power and it is very rare to deserve such an offer from a Mahaan. Shri Siva Shankar Baba felt the power gained by him immediately when He found that a dead cockroach lying next to Him regain life, the moment His eyes fell on it.

Satya Sai Baba

On one of Baba’s pilgrimages to ‘Mantralaya’, He met Satya Sai Baba who said the following to Shri Siva Shankar Baba:

“Son, I am unable to move around due to my old age. Here is my crowd of devotees! You should be their caretaker. You will be the caretaker of all my devotees!”

Koteeswara Swamigal

Koteeswara Swamigal also known as ‘Koti Mahaan’ was a Siddhar who lived for 400 years. On seeing Shri Siva Shankar Baba, he exclaimed,

“Grand Sire, You are Kailasham! You are Vaikuntam!
Travel throughout the world, serve the people.”

Kailash is the abode of Lord Siva and Vaikuntam is the abode of Lord Vishnu.

He also gave Siva Shankar Baba his Footwear and Crown as a sign of transferring all his power to Siva Shankar Baba.

Mata Amritanandamayi

On seeing Siva Shankar Baba she said,
“You are the soul of Shakti (Divine Power). Continue the dhyanam (meditation) with same mantras you are practicing and you will get the Samadhi stage at your will.”

Ratnagiri BalaMurugan Adimai Swamigal

Bala Murugan Adimai Swamigal is the saint of Ratnagiri Hills, an abode of Lord Skanda, who has taken the vow of silence and serves humanity. Siva Shankar Baba has had a long association with him for more than 24 years. He was greatly instrumental in bringing him to this present spiritual state. Swamiji used to introduce Baba to his devotees thus,

“He is my soul. Fate has powerfully kept out links of love over various births.”

It is said in various ‘Nadis’ that Bala Murugan Adimai Swamigal was in his previous birth, the great Bhogha Sidha of Palani Hills(another abode of Lord Skanda), and Siva Shankar in one of his previous births was a disciple of that great Siddha. The Guru-Shishya relationship was re-established in this birth also.

On January 26th 1984, when the annual trust Abhishekam was being performed to Lord Murugan of Ratnagiri temple, Siva Shankar kept crying continuously for more than 1 hour without knowing the reason for the same. On a piece of paper, Ratnagiri Swamigal wrote “Within the end of this month, there will be a welcome turning point in your life. God’s blessings.” On the same night, after reaching Madras, it was in the early hours (around 3.30 a.m.) that the greatest turning point in the life of Siva Shankar Baba occurred.

Mata Mayamma

During Siva Shankar’s spiritual quests in his early years, he visited many great Siddhars(hermits), some of whom were unknown to the world. He has visited Mount Kailash 10 times and performed inner Parikrama. He used to fast without food for several days, visit all the temples in India and go into deep penance in the caves of Mahendragiri, where he would experience and exchange thoughts with Hermits of yore; who are invisible to the normal eye. Mata Mayamma was one such Saint he met during his quest for God.

This great mother who lived in Kanyakumari and then at Chinna Golla Patti at Salem used to shower her love on Siva Shankar Baba. On one occasion she gave him a Santhana Gopalakrishnan idol and blessed him. Whenever Baba went and sat opposite to her in meditation she used to keep chanting “Ram Ram Narayana”. She continued to bless him on various occasions.

  18. HE has undergone tremendous sacrifice to reach this level.
  19. HE is the master of management and operates with a system which was taught by GOD.
  20. HE has no wants, for all HIS wants have been granted already by God.

Krishnaveni Amma

Podigai Malai is another abode of Lord Skanda. Krishnaveni Amma was a Saint he met during his quest for God.

On meeting Siva Shankar Baba she said in ecstacy,
“I am Sabari and my association with Baba right since his previous Avatar (Incarnation) as Rama continues. I worship the Shiva lingam installed by Him 2500 years ago at Kalyana Theertham.”

Sabari was a soul born when the Lord incarnated as Rama, in the ‘Tretha’ (righteousness) era and is known for her unconditional love for God. Once when Lord Rama visited her ashram, she having nothing to serve the Lord, offered fruit from a tree, tasting it one by one for its sweetness, for she wanted to offer only the sweetest to the Lord. Lord Rama feeling her immense love for him, compassionately ate the half-eaten fruit offered by Sabari and blessed her.

Siva Shankar Baba’s love and affection really overwhelms me. Baba, out of His divine compassion has condescended to spending a few hours of His time with me today & has spoken affectionately and I am very grateful to Him for that. When I pray for others, divine messengers bring blessings from God for my requests. There is a great difference between speaking of these experiences in public forums and in this Spiritual Organization. I can speak boldly here. Here no one will find fault with what I say”.
